HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY FROM ALL OF US HERE AT FLMCC!

Here’s to all the Moms out there…

  •     …the Moms who, this day, will be celebrated with love and flowers and crayoned, glitter-sprinkled hearts glued onto school paper, displayed on the fridge and worth far more than any Master’s painting long after Mother’s Day.
  •     The future Moms expecting a baby now, or trying to, or fighting to adopt; they will be Moms and hope grows stronger every Mother’s Day.
  •     The spirit Moms who look on from another place as their families bring flowers and prayers and nostalgic tears that fall onto graven granite and dry and float away on prayer flags in the wind that blows on Mother’s Day.
  •     The hospital Moms sitting in rooms of white and steel whispering prayers for strength and miracles as they watch their children struggle to get well and live, or wait to die, maybe on Mother’s Day.
  •     The single Moms worrying about what their kids do after school while their mothers are out searching for a job or earning a limited paycheck in a double-paycheck economy, and being dads as well, even on Mother’s Day.
  •     The step-in Moms who open their hearts and homes to kids not theirs but who need the shelter of loving wings all the same, and a reason for Mother’s Day.
  •     The nightengale Moms, who shed a “normal” 9-5 job to go out to where the world is cruel and bring food and healing and hope to kids who had none, and a hand to hold on Mother’s Day.
  •     The waiting Moms whose kids left home one day for school or to travel life’s road, and never came back and the phone never rings and the mailbox is empty and they’re still Moms, but it’s just another day on Mother’s Day.
  •     The Moms who wait no more, whose children, through some cruel twist of fate, went before and whose Mother’s Day is celebrated only in their hearts and photo album souvenirs, and they are Moms remembering Mother’s Days.
  •     The prison Moms behind bars or outside, whose children they can only watch grow up in photographs or only hug in guarded rooms, but they’re still Moms yet never know when it will be Mother’s Day.
  •     The childless Moms by fate or choice, who never heard their own baby coo mama or received a crayoned, glitter-sprinkled heart for putting on the fridge, and are reminded every Mother’s Day.

Here’s to all the Moms today – to all of them – who are, will be or were, or would have been.

LET’s BUILD A HOME TOGETHER

by David Anthony on Wednesday, May 30,

WE ARE BUILDING A HOUSE TO CALL OUR HOME AND THIS IS WHAT WE WOULD NEED TO DO .

BEFORE WE BEGIN, IT IS MOST IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER THAT ALL SKILLED PEOPLE MUST WORK TOGETHER IN FULL COORDINATION, ALONGSIDE EACH OTHER BECAUSE, WITHOUT THIS HARMONY THIS HOUSE WILL NOT BE STRONG ENOUGH TO WITHSTAND EVEN THE WEAKEST WIND OR THE WEIGHT OF THE LIGHTEST CHILD .

WE ARE GOING TO BUILD A HOUSE TO CALL OUR HOME & LAY DOWN THE PILLARS AND THE FOUNDATION TO TOUCH EVERY CORNER OF THIS GLOBE IN WHICH WE LIVE.

WE ARE GOING TO MAKE EVERY HOMELESS FELLOW HUMAN BEING , ALL OF THE SICK , THE OLD AND THE UNWANTED HUNGRY PEOPLE, A PART OF OUR HOME, BRINGING TO THEM FAMILY & TAKING CARE OF THEM AS OUR OWN.

WE ARE GOING TO GROW OUR FAMILY SO BIG AND SO STRONG AND WILL GIVE THEM ENOUGH LOVE THAT WILL REACH OUT AND TOUCH EVERYONE WHO WANT TO BE PART OF SOMETHING AS GREAT AS THIS        ” ONE LOVE” HOME THAT WE ARE BUILDING !

WE WILL NOT STOP UNTIL WE DIE AND EVEN AFTER WE LEAVE THIS WORLD,  OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS WILL CONTINUE FOR US, AND THIS ONGOING BUILDING OF FAMILY, CARING , SHARING, LOVING AND GROWING WILL NEVER CEASE………

WE WILL NOT GET WEARY . WE WILL NOT GIVE UP. WE WILL NOT BE TURN OUR BACKS ON ANYONE ON THE WAY & WE WILL NOT ALLOW ANYONE TO DERAIL US FROM COMPLETING THIS IMPORTANT TASK.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BECOME A FAMILY MEMBER AND WOULD LIKE JOIN FORCES WITH US IN BUILDING THIS MAGNIFICENT HOUSE OF GOD, A HOUSE NOT BUILT WITH HANDS ,BUT OF OUR HEARTS AND SOULS AND THE LOVE THAT WE ALL BEAR FOR EACH OTHER,

THEN PLEASE FEEL FREE TO COME ON BOARD WITH US HERE AT:

 NOTICE

WE will need a good ARCHITECT to design and  a plan for that house.

WE will need an ENGINEER to direct, supervise and ensure that all work are done right and to specifications and codes.

WE will need MASONS to lay down bricks and a  foundation strong enough to keep this house standing forever.

WE will need PLUMBERS to run pipes for water .

WE will need ELECTRICIANS to run wires for lights etc.

We will need CARPENTERS to do all the woodwork and build cupboards and closets etc.

WE will need PAINTERS to paint the house pretty.

WE will need a ROOFING specialist to lay down a strong sound roof.

WE will need LABORERS to do all the cleanup and important work we don’t normally recognize.

WE ARE ALL EQUALLY IMPORTANT IN WHICH EVER SKILL WE ARE BLESSED WITH.

WE ARE ALL BORN WITH MANY OF THESE GIFTS BUT ONLY NEED TO FIND THE PLACES TO PUT THEM INTO USE FOR THE BEST PURPOSE POSSIBLE. HERE IS YOUR CHANCE TO HELP.

ONE LIFE / ONE WORLD / ONE DESTINATION / ONE MOMENT  / ONE PEOPLE / ONE LOVE /  ONE CREATOR / ONE REASON / ONE HOME!!!!

INSIDE OF EVERY MOTHER’S HEART

INSIDE OF EVERY WOMAN’S HEART

by Michelle W Bernhard on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 10:34pm ·

Mother’s Day is to celebrate the dear women who bore us

Who raised us and who kissed our hurts

and bedtime stories told us.

Yet there are some, like me… or you?

That no flowers will cheer

Because no children will be there

to bring flowers, this year…

The ones of us who never knew

the joy of having children,

some sad and lonely twist of Fate

made bearing them forbidden.

There are others who’re now alone

from some cruel destiny’s decision

that took the children from their home

leaving the moms grief-stricken.

And finally there are the ones

whose lives too long led them to wait

until too many years had passed

and then it was – too late.

So it’s for us I write these lines

I’ll celebrate us on this Day

In another Dream, another Time

we might have gone another way.

But we still have to carry on

And hold this Truth – no Other

Inside of every woman’s heart

there’ll always be

a Mother…

Happy Mother’s day to you all… love you
