If you make a donation online via one of the platforms we use, we do not collect or hold your card or banking information in any form or by any means whatsoever. This is collected by third party payment processors who specialize in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions, as explained below.

Please note that our website is hosted by WordPress, who may collect data from you that is used in providing us with a certain number of website visit statistics. WordPress does not reveal any of your personal information it may collect in these statistics. Facebook also collects personal data from you, but does not transmit any of it directly to us. How is your information used?

We may use your information to:

  • process a donation that you have made;
  • carry out our obligations arising from contracts entered into by you and us, if any;
  • seek your opinions or comments on the services we provide;
  • contact you regarding any request or donation made to us;
  • contact you regarding a request for assistance;
  • send you donor receipts as requested;
  • send you communications which you have requested and that may be of interest to you. These may include information about campaigns, appeals, or other fundraising activities.

We may also use your name or business name to acknowledge you in “thank you” communications or lists of donors, unless you have specifically stated to us that you wish your donation to remain anonymous. If you wish your donation to remain anonymous, please indicate this by checking the appropriate box on the donation platform page, if provided, (e.g. GuideStar), or by including a message with your check or PayPal donation.

We review our personal information retention periods on a regular basis. We may be legally required to hold some types of information to fulfill any statutory or legal obligations. We will hold your personal information in our records and systems only for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity, or as long as is set out in any relevant contract you may hold with us. Information that is no longer necessary is deleted.

Who has access to your information?

We will never sell or rent your information to third parties, ever.

We will never share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. However, Freddy & Little Massi Calling Corp may not be held liable for any information that may be collected by search engines in the course of your visit to our Internet pages, as we have no control over these search engines and their practices.

You may rest assured that, with the exception of providers supplying Freddy and Little Massi Calling Corp with services to you on our behalf, we will never disclose or transfer your information to any third parties for use for their own direct marketing purposes, unless you have specifically requested us to do so, or unless we are required by law to do so for example by court order or for the purposes of the prevention of fraud or other crime.

Third Party Product Providers we work in association with: We work with third party providers to carry out some of the assistance services we provide under our mission. This may include, for example, utilities companies or shipping companies to get goods and services to those in need, and online payment services for processing donations. When you request assistance, the relevant third party service provider will use your details to provide the needed service and, as the case may be, carry out their obligations arising from any contracts you may have entered into with them. In some cases, they will be acting as a data controller of your information and therefore we advise you to read their Privacy Policy.  These third party providers might share some of your information with us during the assistance or donation process, which we will of course handle in strict compliance with this Privacy Policy.

When you are using our secure online donation pages, your donation is processed by third party payment processors who specialize in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions. If you have any questions regarding secure transactions, please contact us.

We may be obliged to transfer your personal information to a third party if we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation or to enforce or apply our terms of use or to protect the rights, property or safety of our supporters and assisted parties. However, we will take steps with the aim of ensuring that your privacy rights continue to be protected.

Receiving information from FLMCC

You have a choice about whether or not you wish to receive information from us. If you do not want to receive direct communications from us about the emergency assistance we provide for elders and families, please let us know when communicating with us or making a donation. You may also elect, or not, to receive email alerts about publications on the website.

We will never contact you for solicitation purposes by email, phone or text message unless you have given your prior consent. We will not contact you for solicitation purposes by mail if you have indicated that you do not wish to be contacted. How you can access and update your information

You have the right to ask to modify or delete any of the information Freddy & Little Massi Calling Corp may hold about you (we may charge a $15.00 administrative fee to cover our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.) When you make a donation, the donation platforms ensure that any sensitive information (such as credit or debit card details) is encrypted and protected with 128 Bit encryption software on SSL. When you are on a secure page, a lock icon will appear on the bottom of web browsers such as Microsoft Internet Explorer or at the top of other browsers such as Google Chrome or Firefox.

Non-sensitive details (your email address, etc.) are transmitted normally over the Internet, and this can never be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee or be held liable for the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your information, we make our best effort to ensure its security on our systems.
