PRIVACY POLICY

Freddy & Little Massi Calling Corp is committed to protecting and respecting your personally-identifying information.

Our Privacy Policy explains when and why we may collect personally-identifying information about people who visit our blog or Facebook Page, if and how we might use and retain such personally-identifying information, the conditions under which we might be required to disclose any of it to others, and how we keep it secure.

This Privacy Policy may be amended from time to time, at Freddy & Little Massi Calling Corp’s sole discretion. We therefore ask that you check this page occasionally to consult any changes. By choosing to visit or to continue to visit our blog or other Internet pages, or to request and make use of our charitable assistance services, or to contribute in support of our charitable activities, you agree to the terms of this Policy and any amendments, and, unless you specifically inform us otherwise, you consent to the processing and use, in accordance with the provisions and purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, of any personally-identifying information you may provide.

How might we collect personally-identifying information from you?

We might obtain personally-identifying information about you when you visit our blog, for example, if you contact us about our assistance projects and services or to make a donation, if you comment on an article in our blog, when you make a donation via our blog donation button, or by any other means we may make available to contact us or to donate. We may also obtain such information about you when you react to or comment on our Facebook posts or when you donate or contact us through our Facebook page. If you donate by check or in person, we may take note of your name and address, strictly for bookkeeping or other accountability purposes as may be required.

What kind of personally-identifying information might we collect?

The personally-identifying information collected might include your name, address, email address, and possibly your IP address. In specific cases in which we have been requested to provide heating or similar assistance, we may also collect a minimum of information necessary to enable us to do so, such as the name and telephone number of a utilities company. In addition, we may also access any information you choose to publish on your Facebook profile, if you have made it available, or that you choose to disclose in association with a comment or in the contact form on our blog or via Facebook.

If you make a donation via one of the secure online platforms we use, Freddy & Little Massi Calling Corp does not collect and is not informed of your bank card or other banking information in any form or by any means whatsoever. This information is collected by third-party payment processors who specialize in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card or other online transaction information. We are only notified, as the case may be, of personally-identifying information relating to donations made specifically to Freddy & Little Massi Calling Corp: the amount donated, the donor’s name (unless the latter has donated anonymously), and, for certain payment processors, we may be informed of the donor’s email and/or physical address.

Please note that our blog is hosted by WordPress, which may collect data from you that is used to ensure its services to you and to provide us with a certain number of basic visitor statistics. These include general information on what pages of our blog have been consulted and when, as well as certain other data on page visits, but this information does not identify any particular visitor. Facebook also collects personally-identifying information from you, but does not transmit any of it directly or indirectly to us.  Moreover, there is no exchange of personally-identifying information obtained directly by Freddy & Little Massi Calling Corp with WordPress or Facebook. We may also occasionally acknowledge your name or business name in “thank you” communications or lists of donors, unless you have specifically stated to us that you wish your donation to remain anonymous. If you agree to your name or business name being used in this way, please indicate this with your donation. Third-Party Product and/or Service Providers working on our behalf: We may be required to provide any relevant part of your personally-identifying information to any third-party service providers, agents or subcontractors we are required to deal with or choose to deal with in the future, and other associated entities as the case may be, on a need-to-know basis for the sole purpose of completing tasks and providing services to you on our behalf (e.g. providing information or implementing any assistance requested). This includes, for example, utilities companies or shipping companies to get goods and services to those in need.

If you request assistance, the relevant third-party service provider, agent or subcontractor will use your details to provide the needed service or assistance and, as the case may be, carry out their obligations arising from any contracts you may have entered into with them, including any data protection policies. If we use third-party service providers, we will disclose only the personally-identifying information necessary to provide the service or assistance and we will have a contract in place, or ensure that the service provider, agent or subcontractor implements such a policy, that requires them to keep your personally-identifying information secure and not to use it for any direct marketing purposes.

If you have any questions regarding these secure transactions, please consult the relevant payment processor’s terms and conditions of service, or you may contact us.
